This program offers access a limited version of the Persona platform with access to certain products and services depending on the program cohort. Members can utilize curated solutions as a starting point and curate them to further meet specific identity challenges.

The Persona Community

The Startup Program is a self-guided experience. While this program does not offer account-level support, members have found an unparalleled blend of education and help via the Persona Community.

All Startup Program members receive an exclusive invite the the Persona Community where the primary place of engagement is a special Slack space. While there are many Persona experts including product managers, trust & safety experts, and compliance gurus from Persona in the Slack community, the most valuable resource members have found is each other. All members are encouraged to compare notes, help each other, and grow the collective knowledge of building digitally safe and fast growing businesses together.

In addition to Slack, the Community includes recurring programming such as onboarding webinars/calls, regular office hours, and invitations to amplify your businesses through the Personally podcast

Program Cohorts

The Persona Startup Program has a rolling application deadline allowing businesses to flexibly apply whenever they are ready. The program has two cohort options to choose from and include different levels of product & service access.

The Program's General Cohort

• Access to Services: Government ID Verification with optional Selfie Verification
• Access to Platform & Products: Limited access to Inquiries, Workflows, Cases, and configurations
• Beyond the 500 service allotment: After 500 verifications, $1 per additional verification
• Great for: Startups in the gig, marketplace, ecommerce, or any digital space AND small businesses transforming or beginning to operate online such as notaries, ecommerce, or private digital practices needing to verify identities for clients

The Program's Fintech Cohort

• Access to Services: Government ID Verification with optional Selfie Verification, Watchlist Report (OFAC, Sanctions, & more) inclusive of Politically Exposed Persons Report (PEP)
• Access to Platform & Products: Limited access to Inquiries, Workflows, Cases, and configurations
• Beyond the 500 service allotment: After 500 verifications, $1.50 per additional verification
• Great for: Startups in the fintech, crypto, or proptech space AND small businesses like title companies, rental or property management companies, or service providers needing to verify client identities

Eligibility Criteria

To ensure our program aligns with those who need it most, we assess applications based on:

• Your SMB / startup's use case for Persona;
• Your potential to contribute to Persona's community;
• Startups with less than $5M in funding, less than 50 employees, or are independently owned small businesses
