SentiLink Integration Overview
SentiLink is a fraud and identity verification platform that helps financial institutions detect synthetic identities, identity theft, and first-party fraud. Persona’s integration with SentiLink brings these risk insights directly into your workflows.
This integration eliminates manual checks and context switching by automating SentiLink risk scoring from Persona. Fraud and compliance teams can access SentiLink scores in real time to triage high-risk cases and streamline investigations.
SentiLink Score Overview
The SentiLink integration returns real-time scores that help fraud and compliance teams evaluate applicant risk across synthetic identities, identity theft, and first-party fraud.
Score Types
- Synthetic Scores: Measure the likelihood that an identity is fabricated. SentiLink returns 3 Synthetic scores for each applicant:
- First Party Synthetic Score: A real name and DOB paired with an SSN that doesn’t belong to them.
- Third Party Synthetic Score: A fabricated name, DOB, and SSN combination.
- Abuse Score: A composite score indicating whether an identity is likely synthetic.
- Identity Theft Score: Flags risk that an applicant is using a stolen identity.
Risk Thresholds
SentiLink scores range from 0–999. Use these ranges to guide how you handle an identity during onboarding or review:
- 0–450 → Low Risk (green icon): Proceed without additional review.
- 451–749 → Medium Risk (yellow icon): Mid-low risk; may warrant further checks depending on context.
- 750–999 → High Risk (red icon): Additional review recommended.

Setting Up the SentiLink Integration
Prerequisites
To set up the SentiLink integration, ensure you have:
- Admin access to your Persona account
- SentiLink API credentials
Adding SentiLink Credentials
- In the Persona Dashboard, navigate to Integrations > Marketplace.
- Click on SentiLink.
- Click Add Credential.
- Enter your SentiLink credentials.
- Save and confirm the connection.
Using the SentiLink Integration in a Workflow
- Create a new workflow (or open an existing one).
- Add a new action step → Integrations.
- Select Run SentiLink Application Risk and choose your credentials.
- Configure the input fields (see below for details).
- Save/publish the workflow.
Run SentiLink Application Risk
The Run SentiLink Application Risk action sends applicant data to SentiLink and retrieves one or more risk scores.
Configuration steps:
- Provide values for required fields:
- Products: Select which SentiLink product(s) to run
- Application ID: Unique identifier for the selected application to evaluate
- First Name
- Last Name
- Date of Birth(MM/DD/YYYY)
- SSN: Required for Synthetic Fraud Score; recommended for Identity Theft Score
- Address
- City
- State Code
- Zipcode
- Phone Number: Required for Identity Theft Score
- Email: Recommended for Identity Theft Score
- IP Address: Recommended for Identity Theft Score
- Optionally add:
- User ID: Unique applicant identifier
- Device ID
- Lead Type
- Loan Amount
- Loan Currency
- Application Created – Application timestamp (MM/DD/YYYY, HH:MM AM/PM)

Where do I see SentiLink scores?
SentiLink scores can be accessed in Persona workflows and written back to Cases or Accounts. Optionally, you can view them in the SentiLink Dashboard (up to 5 seats included).
Does SentiLink support international identities?
Currently, SentiLink coverage is limited to the U.S.
