Overview
For customers who want to get more information about the identity of the end users, we offer integrations with SentiLink, a leading identity data provider for financial institutions and fintechs.
SentiLink provides companies with best-in-class solutions to prevent synthetic fraud, identity theft, and first-party fraud at account opening.
The SentiLink integration provides scores for end users about the following attributes:
- Synthetic Scores: The risk that the end user identity is a synthetic identity. An identity is synthetic when the name, date of birth, and SSN don’t correspond to any real person. SentiLink returns 3 Synthetic scores for each user:
- First Party Synthetic: User is using a real name and DOB, but SSN that doesn’t belong to them
- Third Party Synthetic: User is using a name, DOB, and SSN combination that is fabricated
- Abuse: Composite score that indicates whether an identity is likely to be synthetic
- ID Theft Scores: The risk that the end user identity provided is a stolen identity.
Scores returned are between 0-999, and SentiLink provides the following guidance for risk levels:
- [0-450]: Low Risk
- [450 -750]: Medium Risk
- [750 - 1000] : High Risk

Given the nature of the SentiLink integration, customers typically call the SentiLink scores first and then step up to additional verification based on the result.
- Create a new workflow, or open an existing workflow you’d like to update
- Add a new action step
- Search for the “Run Sentilink Scores Report” workflow step
- Select the report template with the SentiLink credentials you want to use
- Configure the input fields to pass in the correct information. user_id is how SentiLink defines unique users so we recommend mapping that to the account ID or reference ID.
- Save/publish the workflow
