# Inquiries: Country Select module

## What is the Inquiry Country Select module?

The **Country Select** module adds a pre-built screen to your Inquiry flow that asks the end user to select their country. It writes the user’s selection to Persona’s standard `selected_country_code` field. The module adds this field key to the Inquiry template automatically if it doesn’t already exist.

Verification steps that require a country code (such as Database Verification) are pre-configured to read from this field, so using the module avoids field key mismatches that can occur when building a country selection screen manually.

Adding this module will overwrite any existing value already collected or prefilled in the{' '}

<code>selected_country_code</code> field. If you add more than one Country Select module to the same
Inquiry flow, both will write to the same field key, the second selection will overwrite the first.

## How do you add an Inquiry Country Select module?

1.  Navigate to the Dashboard, and click on **Inquiries > Templates**.
2.  Find and click on the Inquiry template you want to edit, or **Create** a new template.
3.  In the Flow Editor, click the **“+”** sign in the Flow where you want to add a module.

4.  Select **Module** from the list of options.
5.  Choose **Country Select** and then click **Insert**. The module adds a screen with a country selection input to your flow.

## Module placement

Not all locations in the flow support modules. If the **Module** option is grayed out when you click **“+”**, hover over it to see why it can’t be inserted there.
