## What is the Relations module?

The **Relations module** is a prebuilt module that can be added to an Account layout. It shows the Accounts and Transactions linked to the Account through the relations set up on its Account Type. To set up a relation, see [Creating an Account Relation](https://help.withpersona.com/articles/1aMbe1XEyhiAHgFz1oOjDj/).

The module has the heading **Relations** and one collapsible section for each relation on the Account Type:

- Each section is titled with the relation's label, and a sticker shows the Account Type or Transaction Type that the relation points to.
- Each section lists the **Object ID** of every linked Account or Transaction. Click an ID to open that record, or hover over it to copy it.
- Every section is expanded when the page loads.
- A relation with no linked records shows **No relations found**.
- If the Account Type has no relations, the module shows **There are no relations set up on this account type.**

## How do you add a Relations module?

This module is added and arranged on the Layout page. For a general overview of how the Layout page works, see [Accounts: Layout Editor](https://help.withpersona.com/articles/geCwuVZ8Akv6t0WOyEpeUa/).

1. Navigate to the Dashboard, and click on **Accounts > Types**.
2. Find and click on the Account Type you want to edit, or click **Create type** to create a new one.
3. In the Layout Editor, navigate to the **Tab** you want to add the module to. Click an empty space to view the **Module Library**.
4. In the right toolbar, search for ‘**Relations**.’ The module is listed under **Related Records**.
5. Drag and drop the **Relations module** into your layout and reposition it by dragging it around.
6. Click on the **Relations module**. The Relations module has no settings of its own. Its title cannot be changed, and it always shows every relation on the Account Type. Under **Module Layout**, you can change:
   1. Dynamic height: Module will grow or shrink to fit its contents. This is off by default for the Relations module.
   2. Visibility: Dynamically control whether the module is hidden. This lets you set conditions for when the module should be displayed or hidden from view based on your requirements. You can read more about [Visibility Configuration](https://help.withpersona.com/articles/zWAAw3EplHARyOzM88Shgz/) here.
7. Click the **Delete** button if you want to remove the module from the layout.
