## Overview

[PingOne](https://www.pingidentity.com/en/platform.html) is Ping Identity's cloud identity platform. It provides a user directory, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication for workforce and customer identities, giving IT teams centralized control over access and security.

With Persona's PingOne integration, you can seamlessly embed identity verification throughout the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to account recovery—to protect against phishing, social engineering, and deepfake attacks.

Organizations can:

- Require identity verification as part of authentication policies (e.g. account recovery, access to sensitive apps)
- Pull user profile data from PingOne to enrich verification workflows
- Automate account actions like enabling or disabling users, and managing group membership—without leaving PingOne

This integration helps IT and InfoSec teams reduce account takeover risk, streamline account recovery, and deliver faster, more secure access for employees—while maintaining data compliance and supporting distributed teams.
