Quick Start: Set up your first identity verification flow

Overview

Welcome to Persona — we are so excited to have you on board!

This guide takes you through the steps to set up your first identity verification flow. It covers:

• How to try out your Inquiry flow
• Customizing the logic and look-and-feel of your flow
• The different integration methods you can use to deploy your flow

Quickstart

Steps

1. Add a solution in your Sandbox environment.
   1. In the Dashboard, switch into your Sandbox environment.
   2. Select Home in the navigation bar.
   3. On the Home page, click Explore all solutions.

4. Find the solution you want, then click Add to sandbox. For your first solution, we recommend “Basic Verification”. 5. Click the “Add solution” button for your preferred solution. 2. Create a test Inquiry, and complete it, to understand what it's like to use Persona as an end user. 1. Switch into your Sandbox environment. 2. Select Inquiries > All Inquiries from the navigation bar. This opens the All Inquiries view. 3. Click on the +Create Inquiry button at the upper-right hand corner of the All Inquiries view. This opens a modal. 4. Within the modal: 5. Add an optional Reference ID. 6. Optionally, select the checkbox to "Send email to recipient". If you select this checkbox, you can customize the email's subject line, copy, and call to action in the next step. 5. Click Create Inquiry. 6. Copy the URL for this Inquiry and open it in your browser. 7. Run through every step to complete the Inquiry flow. 8. Once you have completed the Inquiry flow, return to the All Inquiries view in the Persona Dashboard. Click on the completed Inquiry to view its details. 3. View the result of the Inquiry in the Dashboard. See details including what information was collected from you, and whether each Verification check passed or failed.

1. Decide on and implement the integration method that works best for you. Choosing your implementation method walks you through these options:
   • Embedded - Seamlessly verify individuals within your website.
   • Hosted - Send users a link to your flow.
   • Mobile SDK - Implement Persona directly within your native Android or iOS app.
