Accounts: Signals module

What is the Signals module?

The Signals module is a module that can be added to an Account Type layout to display the Signals collected during an Inquiry. This is especially useful for giving reviewers risk context in one place. You can customize when fields are displayed on the module and define logic that governs when it appears.

How do you add a Signals module?

This module is added and arranged on the Layout page. For a general overview of how the Layout page works, see Accounts: Layout Module.

1. Navigate to the Dashboard, and click on Accounts > Types.
2. Find and click on the Account Type you want to edit, or click + Create Type to create a new one.
3. The Layout Editor opens with the Component Library in the right panel. Click an empty space to view the Component Library.
4. In the right toolbar, search for ‘Signals.’
5. Drag and drop the Signals module into your layout and reposition it by dragging it around.
6. Click on the Signals module. The right toolbar is organized into four tabs, one for each object type whose Signals you can display: Inquiry, Verification, Transaction, and Account. The tabs work the same way, so the steps below apply to each.

   1. Under Signal Schemas, toggle on the individual signal schemas you want the module to display for that object type. Use the search bar to find a specific schema by name. Repeat on each tab whose Signals you want to surface.

      The Signal Schemas list lets you toggle individual signals on or off for that object type.

   2. Under Module Layout:

      1. Dynamic height: Module will grow or shrink to fit its contents.
      2. Visibility: Dynamically control whether the module is hidden. This is a toggle button that lets you set conditions for when the button should be displayed or hidden from view based on your requirements. You can read more about Visibility Configuration here.
7. Click the “Delete” button if you want to remove the component from the layout.
