What is the Inquiry Government ID Verification (with autoclassification) module?
The Government ID Verification (with autoclassification) module adds pre-built government-issued ID capture and verification to your Inquiry flow. It works like the standard Government ID Verification module, but skips the country and ID type selection screens. The system automatically detects the country and ID class from the submitted image.
This is useful for flows where you want to minimize friction and don't need the end user to manually identify their document.
How do you add an Inquiry Government ID Verification (with autoclassification) module?
- Navigate to the Dashboard, and click on Inquiries > Templates.
- Find and click on the Inquiry template you want to edit, or Create a new template.
- In the Flow Editor, click the "+" sign in the flow where you want to add a module.

- Select Module from the list of options.
- Choose Government ID Verification (with autoclassification) and then click Insert.

-
The module adds the following to your flow:
- A front capture screen
- A back capture screen (required for some countries and ID types)
- A Government ID Verification step with autoclassification enabled
- A pass/retry/fail branching step: By default, users are allowed 3 attempts before the verification fails
After inserting the module, you can adjust the retry count in the branching condition and customize screen copy. For guidance on configuring verification checks, see Configure Government ID verification.
Module placement
Not all locations in the flow support modules. If the Module option is grayed out when you click "+", hover over it to see why it can't be inserted there.
