  1. In the Left Panel, search the Component Library for ‘International Database’.
  2. Drag and drop the International Database form component into your screen, and reposition it by dragging it around.
  3. Click on the International Database form component to open its settings in the Right Panel. The panel has three tabs: Design, Data, and Logic.
    1. On the Design tab, under Properties:
      1. Label: Set the label shown for each input (Country, Identification type, and Identification value).
      2. Placeholder text: Set the placeholder text shown inside each input.
      3. Display type (per label): Choose Static to always show the label you enter in Text, or Dynamic to change the label to match the identification type the user selects. With Dynamic, the Fallback text is used when the selected type is “Other National Identification Number.”
    2. On the Design tab, use the Layout, Typography, and Appearance sections to style the component. See the Design tab section on the Screen Step components in Inquiries page for details.
    3. On the Data tab:
      1. Under Fields, map each input (Country, Identification type, and Identification value) to a field. Use the menu to create new fields for any empty rows.
      2. Under Form settings:
        1. Entity type: Choose whether the component collects identification for an Individual or a Business.
        2. Allowed ID types: Choose which identification types are allowed for each country. Click the + to add, then search and enable the types you want, or use Select all.
        3. Hide country select if prefilled: Hides the Country input when the field is prefilled.
        4. Hide country select if single choice: Hides the Country input when only one option exists.
        5. Hide identification type select if prefilled: Hides the Identification type input when the field is prefilled.
        6. Hide identification type if single choice: Hides the Identification type input when only one option exists for the selected country.
        7. Disable location-based prefill: By default, the Country input is prefilled based on the user’s location. Turn this on to stop that.
      3. Under Validations, set whether the input is required (Always, Never, or Conditional), and add custom validation rules to control when the entry is considered valid. See the Data tab section on the Screen Step components in Inquiries page for details.
    4. On the Logic tab, add rules that govern when the component appears, and when it does not. See the Logic tab section on the Screen Step components in Inquiries page for details.
  4. Use the actions at the top right of the panel to copy, delete, or set translations on the component. To translate the text, see Editing translations for your Inquiry.
  5. Close the step. You’ll have to Save and Publish the template to begin using it.
