CATS (Candidate Applicant Tracking System) is an applicant tracking system that helps recruiting teams manage candidates, job postings, and the hiring pipeline from application through offer. Persona's CATS integration enables automated candidate management directly from your workflows — creating and updating candidate records with identity-verified data so your recruiting team always has accurate, current information.

Setting up the CATS integration

Prerequisites

To set up the CATS integration, ensure you have:

• A CATS account with API access
• A CATS API key (available in your CATS account settings)

Setting up the CATS credentials

1. In the Persona Dashboard, navigate to Integrations > Marketplace and click on CATS.
2. Click on Add Credential at the top of the page.
3. Enter a Nickname for Credential in the modal, along with your CATS API key, and click Continue.
4. Once complete, the credential will appear in Persona and can be selected in workflows.

Using the CATS integration in a workflow

1. Create a new workflow, or open an existing workflow you'd like to update.
2. Add a new action step > Integrations.
3. Select the CATS integration and choose your CATS credential.
4. Select the operation you want to run and map Persona data into the input fields.
5. Save and publish the workflow.

FAQs

Can I attach resumes or documents to a candidate from Persona?

Document attachment is not supported in the current integration. Candidate profile fields are supported.

Can I move a candidate to a specific job or pipeline stage?

The current integration supports candidate record management. Job and pipeline stage assignment are not supported at this time.
