Nuclino integration overview

Overview

Nuclino is a unified workspace for team knowledge, documentation, and projects. Persona’s Nuclino integration lets you list teams and workspaces, search and retrieve items, and create items or collections from a Workflow.

Integration features

The Nuclino integration supports these Workflow actions:

• List teams: Retrieve the teams available to the authenticated user.
• List workspaces: Retrieve accessible workspaces.
• List or search items: Retrieve items and collections within a team or workspace.
• Create item: Create an item or collection.
• Get item: Retrieve an item or collection, including its content.

Prerequisites

Before configuring the integration, you need:

• A Nuclino account.
• A Nuclino API key.
• Access to the teams, workspaces, and items you want to use.

Set up Nuclino credentials

Nuclino sends the API key as the raw value of the Authorization header, without a Bearer prefix. The key has the permissions of the user who created it.

Use Nuclino in a workflow

List teams and workspaces

List teams to find a Team ID, then list workspaces to find a Workspace ID. You can optionally filter workspaces by Team ID.

List or search items

List items and collections in a workspace or team. Provide either a Workspace ID or a Team ID, not both. Add a search query to return matching items ordered by relevance. List results do not include item content; use Get item for the full item.

Create item

Create an item or collection.

Required location:

• Workspace ID or Parent Collection ID: Provide one location, not both.

Optional fields include:

• Object type: Item or collection.
• Title: The item title.
• Content: Markdown content for an item.
• Position: The zero-based position within the parent.

Get item

Use an Item ID to retrieve an item or collection. Item responses include content in Markdown format; collection responses include their child item IDs.
